Job Description: Constellation Consulting Group (CCG) is open for talented professionals to join our team. CCG is now seeking highly motivated Data Engineer to join or Data analytics team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Use knowledge to architect data warehousing and BI solutions that solve problems that cut across multiple business functions
- Interact with business customers, gathering requirements and delivering complete Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, and analytics solutions.
- Interface with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources
- Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation.
- Job Requirements:
- Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational and columnar databases query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with databases.
- Experience building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures and data sets using cloud-based tools
- Experience performing analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Strong analytical mind related to working with unstructured datasets across multiple functional areas.
- Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management.
- Hands on knowledge with MS Data Factory & integration mechanisms with varied source systems like Oracle ERP, Oracle Fusion, Salesforce, Yardi and Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP ERP
- A successful history of manipulating, processing and extracting value from large disconnected and heterogenous datasets.
- Strong team player with ability to work and deliver projects independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience supporting and working with cross-functional, multi-geography teams in a dynamic environment.
- Strong hands on experience in following areas:
- Data Stores: Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, Azure Blob storage, MS Analysis Services
- Data Integration: Informatica, Azure Data Factory, SQL Server Integration Services, Apache NIFI
- Programming Language: Python, TSQL, PowerShell
- Reporting Platforms: Power BI, Tableau, IBM Cognos
- Additional desirable skills: Exposure to data analytics, statistical model development will be added advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
