Data Privacy, Compliance and Legal Counsel İş İlanı

As a part of our Legal team, you’ll help uphold Mavi’s ethical and corporate standards. You’ll be challenged to apply your deep legal expertise to all aspects of the law.

We are looking for you if you have;

· Bachelor’s degree in Law required,

· A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in data protection area working in a law firm, or practicing as in-house counsel for a retail or international comapany,

· Experience on maintaining a compliance programme,

· Experience in negotiating contracts and data protection clauses,

· Good understanding of local and European privacy landscape in technology and online businesses,

· Ability to analyse complex information and identify key and relevant points, including communicating in a relevant and easy to understand manner,

· Excellent ability to analyze problems and come up with practical, workable solutions,

· Excellent English language skills is must and essential, German language is a great asset,

· Project / Programme Management skills - demonstrable track record successfully managing projects at the highest technical and tactical levels, coordinating multi-discipline projects,

· Ability to work with a global team. Energetic, self-starter, flexible, goal-oriented.

Job Responsibility:

· Provide legal support for the full scope of operations and businesses where Mavi operates,

· To ensure that all kinds of legal documents are prepared and arranged in a timely and complete manner,

· To support the coordination and harmony between the lawyers who contractually support the company abroad,

· To defend the rights of Mavi company and company officials in judicial and administrative authorities in cases of disputes and incompatibilities with Mavi and company officials and other person institutions and organizations,

· Support and assist business departments in terms of data privacy issues,

· Draft legal texts (privacy notices, explicit consent and marketing permission forms, data breach notifications, data inventories, policies etc.) as necessary,

· Support respective business teams to maintain data protection compliance programme,

· Present and report to Data Privacy on the risks, mitigations and operational KPIs,

· Develop templates, guidances, processes etc. with the objective of making the data protection activities more effective and practical,

· Participation / process follow-up/ setting the agenda / giving opinions to draft laws at sectoral or any other important institutions, as necessary.
