Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in data analytics maintaining, understanding, interpreting, and forecasting data
- Knowledge of API and programming languages like Python, R
- Advanced knowledge of SQL
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., power BI, tableau, Qliksense)
- Experience with Jira (or similar)
- Experience with applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.
- Ability to understand and analyze datasets required for machine learning and AI algorithms
- Experience processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
- Proficiency with program languages, tools, and applications for analysis and visualization of data
- Familiarity with data warehouse development and best practices
- The versatility and willingness to learn new technologies on the job
- The ability to clearly communicate complex results to technical and non-technical audiences
Basic Functions:
- Research, design and implement descriptive, predictive and inferential models using data science and machine learning techniques to build solutions for core business cases.
- Identify and specify data needs and quality requirements to support modelling
- Mentor junior Data scientists
- Use quantitative analysis and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and understand what drives our business and provide insights.
- Support Data Driven transformation
- Identify new opportunities and advocate your ideas.
