We are looking for a Database Administratorto join our growing team that offers a broad range of software solutions to help our customers make smarter operational decisions and decrease their operational costs. We provide fast and high-quality solutions to airline problems with a high degree of structural complexity.
Main Responsibilities:
- Management & Maintaining & Monitoring & Troubleshooting of Oracle Databases
- Creating & Maintaining test/production environments
- RMAN Backups and Oracle Dataguard installation and monitoring
- Knowledge about Oracle Grid Infrasture and Oracle Enterprise Manager
- Provides support for applications 24/7 when assigned as a primary contact
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field,
- Minimum 3 years experienced in Oracle Database Administration,
- Experience in installation, configuration, patching, upgrade, migration
- Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, availability and security
- Setup and maintenance of backup, restore and disaster recovery procedures
- Experience in Shell Scripting and knowledge about Linux operating systems
- Intellectually curious with a strong willingness to learn
- Able to work in a complex and fast paced environment and to manage multiple projects at one time
- Good communicator, team player, collaborate with other team members
- Strong in problem solving and relationship management competencies
- Creative and result oriented.
- Fluent in English, both written & spoken
