This position directs and controls the movement of material in and out of the Turkey- Ankara manufacturing plant and manages key materials related functions such as material planning, inventory control, receiving and warehousing. Ensure timely processing of inventory transactions within the MRP system, to support both internal and external customer demands.


Job Responsibilities


• To serve as a role model in the areas of leadership, teamwork, customer focus, continuous improvement, safety and environmental stewardship to ensure alignment with Eaton Electrical values.

• Drive activities to reduce, scrap, rework and overtime cost while meeting quality objectives.

• Monitor employee performance & conduct regular performance reviews.

• Motivate and coach employees to maintain high levels of satisfaction, productivity and quality through effectively utilizing available rewards and recognition channels.

• Proactively implement, promote and maintain a safe working environment through diligence in accident prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and rule enforcement, and acting as MESH Champion.

• Conduct process checks within areas of responsibility and monitor performance to establish standard work formats.

• Determine rate-based materials requirements needed to meet production schedules, inventory levels, and shipment demands to achieve on-time production and inventory management requirements.

• Manage inventory control activities; excess and obsolete material elimination, maintain inventory accuracy, analyze and improve material movement and establish inventory locations and utilize inventory space.

• Oversee activities of the Material Schedulers to assure that customer delivery, manufacturing efficiency and plant inventory objectives are met and that engineering change activities are effectively coordinated.

• Responsible for Cycle Counting program, ensuring counts are done daily and timely resolution of discrepancies.

• Maintain metrics for Safety, Receiving, OTD, and Cycle Count Accuracy, Stockroom efficiency, Premium Freight and others as assigned. Ensure integrity and audit capability of the Cycle-Count process to apply for waiver of ongoing annual physical inventories per documented plan/procedure.

• Coordinate Outsourced activities for assemblies and establish optimal material flow in / out WH.



Are you?

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, materials, supply chain, inventory control, or operations/logistics is preferred.

• Minimum 5 year of experience in the field

• Inventory management systems, SAP experience, Office Programmes

• Supervisory experience preferred.
