QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
- Bachelor’s degree in fashion design, textile engineering or related fields
- Minimum 3 years experienced as Denim Designer
- Strong sense of fashion trends and creativity, should follow world fashion trends and be able to design new trends accordingly
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals and laundry techniques
- Excellent command of English
- Expert level skills in design programs (illustrator, photoshop, etc)
- Pro-active, quality and result-oriented, change andimprovement oriented
- Planning, organization and problem solving skills
- Well developed teamworking, time management and communication skills
- No restrictions for travelling
- No military obligation (for male candidates)
- Visualising an idea and producing a design by hand or using design programs
- Keeping up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colours and shapes
- Following the world fashion, fairs and to realize designs that are suitable for customer expectations
- Liaising closely with merchandising and production teams on an ongoing basis to ensure the designs suit the customer and production
- Understanding design from cost and production perspective and producing designs that will facilitate production and reduce costs
- Searching and selecting fabrics, trims, fastenings and embellishments;
