• University degree in Computer, Industrial, Electronics Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or related fields,
• 5+ years of work experience in related positions, preferably experienced in Insurance,
• Ability to research on new technology trends and adapt to business processes and products,
• Ability to scope projects tightly and execute them effectively,
• Strong technical, analytical and innovative skills,
• Strong interpersonal and social skills,
• Excellent oral and written communication,
• Experienced in working with cross-functional units,
• Thorough understanding software development, analysis, database structures and web services,
• Fluent in English,
• No military obligation for male candidates.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This position’s role is to accelerate digital transformation of the company by researching on new technology trends and services to apply digital solutions on the products and processes in order to avoid disruption.

This position is responsible for;

• Formation of corporate knowledgebase on new technology trends, services and applications,
• Contacting startups, hubs, insurtechs, universities and entrepreneurs for triggering new business opportunities through importing and integrating their technology and know-how,
• Creating prototypes and proof of concepts,
• Spreading innovation culture & knowhow around the company
• Detecting customer pain points and business process problems
• Managing deals and software integrations with startups
• Managing Sompo Sigorta Dojo collaboration and Open API platform. Increasing its visibility and reach
• Supporting digital projects to create great user and customer experience,
• Contributing to the Digital strategy of the company,
• Acting as a link between Sompo Turkey and Digital Lab in Head Office, Japan.
