Job Description & Responsibilities:

  • Functions as the strategic business leader of the property's Hotel Operations; areas of responsibility include Front Office, Guest Relations, Quality, Entertainment, Kids Club and other revenue generating departments.
  • In charge of monitoring and directing operational departments to meetguest satisfaction,productivity, revenue, profit, and targets.
  • Makes sure evening operations run smoothly overseeing the responsibilities of the Duty Manager.
  • Creates and implements methods to guarantee that satisfaction levels exceed guest experience and colleague engagement goals.
  • Possesses strong working knowledge of all areas of the hotel and critical decision making skills, with a proven track record of managing, motivating, and leading a fast paced hotel team.
  • Works with hotel management team to develop an operational strategy that is aligned with the brand’s business strategy and leads its execution.
  • Stays visible and interfaces with guests on a regular basis to obtain feedback on quality of product, service levels and overall satisfaction.
  • Responds to and handles potential guest problems and complaints.
  • Owns the recruitment process of operational teams: interview, hire, and train.
  • Leads by example, sets clear expectations and addresses issues directly.
  • Inspires and motivates operational leaders and colleagues to foster a guest-focused and results-oriented environment.
  • Adjusts her/his schedule to be able to involve in day-to-day operations to provide support where and when needed.
