QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
To create 2D & 3D drawings of Standard /Special Power transformers, especially Large Power Transformers, based on customer’s specification and to prepare designs, calculations, drawings and bill of materials for procurement, quality, test and manufacturing functions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Preparing mechanical drawings by using CAD tools and engineering calculation methods.
- Following up the mechanical drawings’ lifecycle from beginning to the delivery of internal customers.
- Following non-conformance reports and taking necessary preventive actions.
- Preparing the tender and/or contract mechanical design drawings, considering international rules and national standards, using the appropriate GE standards and tools, relying on material specifications (technical understandings, costs, procurement loop), and manufacturing capabilities.
- Aware of the company and local EHS policies, rules and standards. Performing the preventive/corrective actions in collaboration with EHS team to avoid the accidents, incidents and environmental damages.
Required Qualifications:
- Min. Technical School Graduation
- Min. 3+ years experience in Mechanic Design in specificaly Transformer sector in MPT/LPT Design knowledge would be a big asset
- Knowledge of 2D & 3 Cad Software (Autodesk, Autocad and Inventor)

- Sound Knowledge of Engineering Fundamentals
- Comfortable Writing Technical Reports
