QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an outstanding candidate who will be responsible for the creation and integration of electrical design for our boats.He/she needs to be heavily involved in the application process.
Responsabilities:
- Designing and integrating with electrical control systems for boats (entertainment, navigation equipment, lighting…),
- Integrating with supplier equipment,
- Controlled issuing of drawings for production,
- Specifying cables, connectors, containers and other components,
- Working with engineering team to create electrical designs,
- Working knowledge of, and ability to work to, marine electrical standards,
- Providing support to electrical and mechanical production staff,
- Working closely with the entire design and production teams,
- Trouble shoot electrical/mechanical issues on work in process as needed by technicians,
- Understand critical interfaces between structure, systems and interior design,
Requirements:
- Applicable education with a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering,
- Minimum 3 years relevant work experience, ideally in the marine electrical systems
- Understanding of boatbuilding methods, materials, and requirements,
- Demonstrate creative abilities and applied problem-solving skills,
- Ready to work in a multi-functional and multi-cultural, fast-moving and complex/technical environment
- Proven ability to self-manage and demonstrate high level of professional maturity,
- Must be quality minded and self -motivated,
- Fluent in English,
- Preferably residing in İzmir or able to move to İzmir.
