Job description

Ekomak Industrial compressor in, Edirne Turkey, has a vacancy for a Electrical Engineer for Screw Compressors ranging from 2.2 kw to 315kw.

The electrical designer is responsible for assigned electrical design of TRD projects and major product modifications, plays a key-role in the “(new) product development process”.

Your tasks and responsibilities include, but not limited to:

· Has an eye for the safety of the product

· Electrical design: execution of the electrical design and fulfill the requirements of the special order project scope

· Implements design changes based on field and production feedback

· Prepares the necessary drawings and specifications within the allotted time.

· Confers with vendors for the selection of parts / technical applications.

· Confers with purchasers on selecting suppliers for specific parts.

· Verifies design / releases from colleagues.

· Is responsible for the electrical support to customer centers.

· Participates in technical discussions with design team, inspection agencies and customer centers.

· Is responsible for monitoring the competence of electrical related.

· On the specific question of your project leader, you will participate in projects to improve the overall functioning.

· Is responsible of 3^rd party electrical safety assessments and EMC tests.

Education and Experience requirements

- Bachelor’s degree of electrical engineering or related major.

- Knowledge

- Comprehensive knowledge in electrical area.

- Electrical related design of electrical BOM, drawings, control panel, motor selection and spec, instrumentation hardware selection as well as communication protocol (modbus, profibus, etc) to fulfill special requirements.

- Basic knowledge of compressor (or similar products) working principle and control logic

- Electrical related standard (e.g. GB 7251.1-2013, IEC 60034-30-1:2014, GB 30254-2013, IEC 60529-2001, etc), ex-proof standards (ATEX/IEC/NEC) is a plus.

- Fluent verbal and written English skills

- Experience with MS Office, Inventor, CAD tools is an asset.
