JOB DESCRIPTION
Embedded Software Application Engineer (SCADE Application Engineer & Embedded Software Engineer) is responsible for delivering industry-leading embedded software solutions for customers in aerospace, military, automotive, railway and industrial markets. He/She is a critical customer-facing team member that will realize robust model-based system and software solutions using the SCADE product line. Embedded Software Engineer must work for safety-critical projects develop embedded software (50%) and deliver training, technical workshops, technical support, and consulting (50%).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver safe, viable and robust product solutions for SCADE,
- Provide training and consulting services for engineering teams,
- Work closely with the customer to define projects and design, along with identifying areas to be improved in the customer’s software processes,
- SW development, review, and verification activities for safety-critical applications with SCADE and C,
- Integration and communication between system/safety teams to derive requirements,
- Certification/qualification documentation for related safety-standards,
- Coordinate the effective utilization of NUMESYS / ANOVA / ANSYS resources, including systems/safety, sales, business development, marketing, support services, and executive team members.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Software, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related Engineering,
- 0-5 years experience in development of embedded software,
- Strong programming skills in C and embedded software,
- Fluent in English and Turkish,
PREFERRED SKILLS
- A Master Degree/Ph.D in Computer Science/Engineering, Software, Electronics, Mechatronics or related Engineering (on-going related grad-education is supported),
- Familiarity with model-based development (e.g., SCADE, Simulink, ..),
- Experience in developing software for aerospace/railway/automotive applications with extensive knowledge to the DO-178B/C, EN-50128, or ISO26262 standard,
- Experience with safety-critical model-based SW development and verification (e.g. Requirement-based, Coverage analysis, ..),
- Experience in requirement management (e.g. DOORS, Polarion, ..),
- Experience with configuration management processes (e.g. Jira, SVN, ..),
- Experience in real-time operating system (RTOS).
