Job Description
· Organizing and managing workshops at supplier plants to improve their manufacturing processes to find technical and commercial cost saving opportunities,
· Managing the process of all cost improvement proposals by taking an interface role between R&D, Purchasing and suppliers from suggestion creation to implementation status
· Reporting the cost improvement progresss of related departments,
· Coordination with Direct Material Purchasing team to develope (pricing, escalation strategies, should cost etc.) current Purchasing processes and identify new processes/strategies,
· Following and verifying the suppliers’ capacity according to future production plan in coordination with Direct Material Purchasing and Supply Chain teams
Qualifications
· Graduated from bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering,
· Minimum 3 years automotive industry experience is must,
· Experience in process, production and project management,
· Experience in supplier development processes will be preferred,
· Product cost analysis and finance knowledge,
· Experience in heavy commercial vehicle and/or tractor production sector will be preferred,
· Experience in low volume parts manufacturing processes and also related process setup/investment will be preferred,
· Having strong analytical and result oriented approach by applying problem solving methods,
· Having strong communication and organization skills,
· Fluent in English (Advanced written and spoken English),
· Strong MS Office application knowledge is must,
· Having no restriction for travel
