Job Specifications
Performing validation tests of engine and HVAC systems in new projects & current products
Responsible for conducting engine performance, emission and durability tests
Reporting validation issues into proper tracking tools
Supporting the development team in root cause analysis of the issues and problem resolution
Responsible for tracking calibration and maintenance activities of test laboratories, commissioning new test equipment and keep the test laboratories ready for testing
Responsible for validation deliverables in new projects, preparing design validation plans and carrying out related tests
Following engine sign-off process in new projects together with engineering partners
Preparing supplier test plans for new components, responsible to track and approve supplier tests
Responsible for preparing and commissioning new test procedures by following international test standards
Participating in cost reduction, current product improvement and tear down activities
Qualifications
Bachelor or Master Degree from the Departments of Mechanical, Automotive or Mechatronic Engineering
Minimum 3 years of active experience in automotive industry
Agricultural machinery, automotive or similar background is preferred
Good knowledge of internal combustion engines and automotive HVAC systems
Experience of engine application, performance and emission tests (AVL PUMA, ETAS INCA, Somat TCE preferred)
Good knowledge of sensor and test automation systems
Good knowledge of MS Office applications
Ability to demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills in English
