QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental /Civil Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of experience on legislation and business processes in environmental health and safety systems, ecology and environmental protection and industrial safety
- Excellent command of English both written & spoken
- Environmental Certification is preferred
- Safety Expert Certificate and experience is preferred
- Having an ADR certification is preferred.
- Experience in ISO14001 Environment Management System is a plus.
- Industrial wastewater treatment experience is preferred
- Analytical thinking, solution and result oriented
- Strong communication skills,
- A good and dynamic team player and willing to work in a challenging environment
- Good knowledge of Ms Office applications
- Completed military service for male candidates,
- Able to travel
- Driving license B
- Living or willing to live in Sakarya or İzmit
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Carrying out site assessments
- Conducting technical /ISO systems audits
- Evaluating environmental impact
- Making recommendations on clean-up, reclamation and waste management activities
- Assessing how a site complies with environmental regulations
- Using mathematical techniques and computer modelling to assess or forecast past, present and future environmental problems
- Keeping abreast of legislative changes in environmental law
- Obtaining and maintaining plans, permits and standard operating procedures
