QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Description
The position is in Bursa at our Powertrain Solutions Plant. Your valuable contribution as an officially certified environmental officer:
- Following-up of legal & other environmental regulations, standards requirements and ensuring compliance
- Developing of instruments for management of natural resources, waste, air, soil and water protection
- Development and implementation of environmental strategies
- Performing of Environmental Impact & Aspect Assessments and ensuring of sustainability via improvement projects.
- Being an effective team member for the “Design for Environment” activities
- Performing of environmental risk assessment for the Hazardous Substances prior to usage
- Conducting internal and external audits
- Defining preventive measures to prevent environmental incidents & improving environmental performance in the area of responsibility
- Sustaining and developing of environmental culture via inspiring campaigns, activities, consultancy and trainings
- Maintaining and developing of related ISO 14001 activities
Qualifications
- University Graduate of Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Legal Environmental Officer certification
- IMDG/DGR/ADR/Seveso/KKDIK/ÇED/Energy/Waste Management knowledge and competency
- Knowledge and experience on environmental management system implementations
- Fluent in Turkish and English, additionally German is an asset
- Min. 5 years’ experience in similar work environment
- Very good communication skills particularly impact and influence, conflict management and coping capability
- Continuous learning and improvement approach
- Eager to learn
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
