We are seeking for an experienced and ambitious Ethical Trade Specialist to be based in Istanbul Code of Practice Team.
- University degree preferably in a relevant field
- Minimum 6 months' experience or a background in a similar role
- Demonstrate passion and interest for ethical trading, as well as an understanding of broader regional supply chain issues
- Have a good understanding and appreciation for compliance process and practices
- Excellent command /highly proficient in spoken and written English
- A natural problem solver
- Strong communication skills
- Effective organisational skills
- Able to travel throughout Turkey and overseas
- Active driver
- Military status should be completed for male candidates
Job Description and Qualifications
Auditing:
- Ensuring that the new supplier onboarding/induction process is followed
- Complete a risk analysis prior to auditing, based on factory self-assessment
- Scheduling audits as per Code of Practice (COP) team audit plan
- Planning and organising of new and follow up audits in designated region
- Carry out COP audits in line with COP Principle Standarts and Auditing Standarts, produce audit reports and distribute to relevant parties
- Ensuring that critical issues are clearly identified& communicated to the relevant supplier
- Maintaining the "SCOP" system with site and audit information
COP Process:
- Build and maintain supplier relationships
- Participation in relevant project work which supports the company ethical/corporate responsibility approach
- Analysis of contract assigning reports to track suppliers who are not providing accurate supply chain information. Liaise with suppliers who have not assigned factories to contracts according to business requirements
