QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
ROLE DESCRIPTION
Reporting to Exploration Manager, Centerra Madencilik AŞ, Exploration Geologist will be responsible collecting surface samples, geological mapping and drillhole logging. This position is This position will be contracted until the end of the year, 2022.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Planning and execution of geological mapping, geochemical sampling, geophysical survey, and geological logging of drillhole programs.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION
· A degree in Geology is required. Professional background in exploration and/or mining preferred.
· Minimum experience in similar role (2 years+)
· Ability to understand and communicate in English, verbally and in writing, with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and reporting.
· Knowledge and understanding of best exploration practices relating to geospatial data collection and mineral exploration workflows
· Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
· Demonstrated commitment to safety, environment, and community
· Flexibility to travel all around Turkey
· Good level of MS Office skills and preferably Datamine Discover, ArcGIS Online applications
· B Class driving license
· Military service status must be completed if applicable
