QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Octamed is looking for an "Export Sales and Marketing Specialist". The position is based in Tuzla/Istanbul.

Established and headquartered in 2011, Istanbul / Turkey, OctaMed is an incorporated company dedicated in designing, manufacturing and marketing of medical devices and disposables mainly for hospitals, pharmacies and a comprehensive range of medical facilities.


Job Description

  • Handling the existing business partners in the global market, identifying the growth areas, executing relevant strategies and sales activities in order to improve the business results and ensuring high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Setting up and developing new business partnerships with distributors, wholesalers and clients all over the world. Maintaining good customer relationships
  • Following up the whole export process from the inquiry receipt till the delivery of goods in coordination with Logistics, Operations, Finance and other relevant teams.
  • Monitoring and analyzing market developments, competitor activities, risks and opportunities, preparing an action plan and executing it in order to improve the business results and realize the sales targets.
  • Performing accurate budgeting and forecasting activities based on past data and current business results considering the new trends in the market, risks, opportunities and other critical criteria.
  • Travelling abroad for existing and /or new business partner visits and attending international fairs in order to represent the company.
  • Monitoring the internal and external progress daily and reporting to the Export Manager regularly.
  • Developing plans and strategies by coordinating with the Export Manager to achieve the regional export sales targets.
  • Prepare and analyses reports for customer visits and meetings.
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and preparing reports.
  • Effectively Collaborate with team members to achieve better results.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university
  • 3-5 years export sales and marketing experience.
  • Advanced English. Knowing other languages is a plus.
  • Strategical & analytical thinking as well as good negotiation skills
  • Excellent Communication & relationship skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
  • No restrictions to travel abroad
  • Eager to take new challenges and to learn
  • Living in Asian Side of Istanbul
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
