QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Swissôtel Resort Bodrum Beach lies directly on the waterfront in Turgutreis, approximately 20 kilometres from the center of Bodrum. The main two-store hotel comprises 70 rooms and suites offering at least 40 m² per room, complimented by villas and duplex terraces in front, which house 72 serviced apartments that are 120-240 m² in size. The bars and restaurants are being created as places of entertainment where the ambiance is formal or casual and dishes are prepared with the finest local produce. With indoor & outdoor pools and Purovel Spa & Sport facilities, Swissôtel Resort Bodrum Beach provides you with a wide variety of sport and leisure opportunities.

Qualifications:

We are looking for a well organized and creative candidate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who is able to display a “passion for perfection” and work in a dynamic environment. In addition, the candidate should possess:

  • Previous experience in the culinary field required
  • Journeyman’s papers or international equivalent an asset
  • DiplomaCertification in a Culinary discipline an asset
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications an asset
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
  • Fluent English

Summary of Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are as listed below, but not limited to these:

  • To consistently offer professional, friendly and proactive guest service while supporting fellow colleagues
  • ?Supervises the activities of the Waiters and Busboys in assigned area
  • To work closely with the Kitchen leadership team to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen through effective communication and organization

  • To balance operational, administrative and Colleague needs

  • To liaise daily with Outlet Managers to keep open lines of communication regarding guest feedback

  • To ensure proper staffing and scheduling in accordance to productivity guidelines

  • To provide all administrative duties for the kitchen

  • To ensure storeroom requisitions are accurate and inventories are sufficient

  • To schedule regular departmental meetings

  • To have full knowledge of all menu items

  • To ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen and maintenance of all work areas

  • To follow kitchen policies, procedures and service standards

  • To follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage

  • Other duties as assigned
