QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

The Facility Lead is responsible for all facility-related services (including EHS) that concerning Disney properties in Turkey. Based in Istanbul, the Facility Lead reports to the Turkey Facility/Admin Manager. In this capacity, the Facility Lead needs to have highly organised, work well under pressure and enjoy coordinating and planning. Travel, especially within country will be required on occasion.


Responsibilities :

On a daily basis, the Facility Lead will be responsible for the management of services and processes that support the core business of an organisation and ensure that best practices are followed for maximum efficiency and that the most suitable working environment is attained for its employees and their activities at all Disney locations within Turkey. A key requirement will be the development of strong relationships mostly with facility vendors. In addition, he / she will work closely with Sourcing with terms to the change/revaluate the facility vendors.

With the new world of pandemic, he/she will take the lead/ support the project to ensure that social distance and other COVID related regulations are kept at Disney offices. He/she will be working closely with Corporate Real Estate with all premises/properties in Turkey. He/ she will take over also the real estate management of Antenna Transmission premises from DTCI-Technology team.

Likely areas of responsibility include:

· building and grounds maintenance

· health and safety

· procurement and contract management

· space management

· utilities and communications infrastructure.


This role is a strong support to Facility/Admin Manager with running Turkey offices with 400+ employees, 250+ subcontractors, 100 + visitors on a daily basis.

Facility Management

· Management of the facilities including technical maintenance,

· Monitor the facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure and well-maintained

· Ensuring business continuity by taking all measurements in all offices

· Concluding all facility tenders with Legal, Sourcing and Finance

· Preparing documents to put out tenders for contractors

· Project management, supervise and coordinate the work of contractors

· Planning for future development in line with strategic business objectives

· Managing and lead change to ensure minimum disruption to core activities

· Direct, coordinate and plan essential services such as maintenance, waste disposal, recycling etc.

· Responds appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and deal with the consequences.

· Coordinating and leading one or more teams to cover various areas of responsibility

EHS

· Supporting Turkey Facility/Admin Manager for managing EHS activities with the support of 3rd party consultant ensuring buildings meet health and safety requirements and that facilities comply with legislation

· Performing the activities in the Emergency and Disaster Management programs, organizing drills, required trainings about first aid, fire and building evacuation

· Manage the ZB office under pandemic period as mission-critical functional areas of FTA that must remain in operation, cordoning off physical spaces, and social distancing in all common areas.

· Keep staff safe

Real Estate Management

· Working with Corporate Real Estate on the Real Estate renewals/ disposals + Currently 3 offices in Turkey

· Antenna Portfolio Management with respect to real estate with the coordination of CRE (175 sites in Turkey)

· Working with CRE on all PIR requests and approvals

Budgetary control and reporting

· Calculate and compare costs for required goods or services to achieve maximum value for money

· Strong partner to finance, working in AOP and Forecast assumptions.

· Cost tracker / analysis on variance of Actual/AOP/Forecast deviances

· Recommend any capital investment and leasehold improvements in line business needs

Management of cost minimization projects and environment-friendly top level projects within the scope of Facility Management with support of Sourcing

Basic Qualifications :

· Having BA graduation from Civil / Mechanical Engineering,

· 2-5 years experience in facility, EHS management, construction, building management, engineering, building services and facilities management,

· Strong project management skills.

· Vendor management experience including performance management of SLA/KPIs

· Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

· A flexible approach to variable working hours/travel requirements.

· Interpersonal, relationship-building and networking skills

· The ability to multitask and prioritise your workload
