QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Qualifications
- University degree in preferably in Design,
- 4-6 years of textile industry.
- Very good knowledge of spoken/written English.
- Comprehensive knowledge of silhouettes, fabrication, color/print usage, graphics, embellishment layouts, and trim required.
- Must be flexible and adapt well to fast paced, rapidly changing work environment and able to work well under pressure.
- Experience working on a fashion design supplier will be highly valued for this position.
- Available to travel.
- Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator (Knowledge of other programs,like PLM, SAP, is welcome)
Responsibilities
- Research trends and bring in new ideas through competitive shopping, magazines, websites, and runway shows and have the ability to also look for upcoming trends.
- Apply processes to understand/anticipate the needs of the customer in order to exceed customer expectations and readily react to their needs. Prepare materials for meetings and presentations.
- Work in a strategic and commercial manner, maintening and developing excellent customer relationships in conjunction with merchandisers. Seeking to improve process in order to deliver efficiently with speed/agility.
