QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a 'Field Sales Engineer'for İzmir region, with the following qualifications to join the growing team of our German client which is one of the leading sensor manufacturers in the world
- University degree preferably in Electrical & Electronics or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 2-5 years of sales experience in sensor & industrial automation products direct with customers
- Technical skills and contacts required in sensor technology, automation, OEM and industrial manufacturing
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Networking & Customer contacts in Industrial Automation Companies, Automotive OEM, Automotive Tier 1, Machine Building (assembly and metal processing) industries, Plastic & Rubber, Hydraulics, Factory Automation, Food & Beverage
- Good command of written and spoken English, German is a plus
- Knowledge in sensor & automation industry is a plus
- Residency in İzmir region to make frequent customer visits
- Strong willingness to travel and commitment to develop new key customers and increase sales
- Have a B class driving licence
İŞ TANIMI
- Establishing new customers and maintaining existing relationships with customers through regular communication via e-mail/phone/fax as well as by visiting the customer on a periodic base.
- Interpreting customer requirements and then encouraging the customer that company product or service will best satisfy their needs in terms of quality , price and delivery.
- Providing quotations and negotiating contract terms, to meet both customer and company needs.
- Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing on terms and conditions.
- Analysing/Preparing cost and sales.
- Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conference and other events.
- Providing technical assistance and product training (both pre-and post-sales)
- Giving support to achieve monthly and annual sales revenue targets by analyzing costs.
- Monthly reporting for projects and forecast.
- Weekly reporting for week visits plan
Purpose of the job- The 'Field Sales Engineer' will acquire new customers & maintain new ones by supporting them on the best interest of company products and services. She/ He will be a vital asset for local Turkish organization in order to achieve profitable sales and growth targets
- He/ She will be required to send a periodical report / update about visits, actions, opportunities and quotations in order to provide the management a clear view of the marked development progress, particularly for products and solutions in Automotive OEM, Tier 1 Suppliers, Metal Working, Hydraulics, Factory Automation and etc.
- The employee will receive instructions from General Manager -Turkey, to whom he will report.
