We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our finance team in Istanbul and support operations and reporting.

The skills we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, or related discipline
  • 1-2 years of related experience
  • Must be skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong fluency in MS Office (esp. Excel)
  • Male candidates must have completed the military service

Main responsibilities include

  • Business partnering with account managers and London head office
  • Maintaining accounting records
  • Making bank and current account reconciliations
  • Following up the supplier/customer account reconciliation
  • Processing of purchase and sales invoices to Xero
  • Regular archiving of invoices
  • Experience with different currencies
  • Making domestic and international payment plans
  • Preparation of bank instructions
  • Daily finance & operations schedules
  • Follow-up and collection of overdue receivables
  • Regular transfer of data to the accounting firm
  • Regular office administrative work
  • Supply of office needs
  • Making and arranging purchases related to the Company and Employees
  • Following up the transactions related to the tax office and Social Security, going to these institutions when necessary
