Job Description

- Accounting

  • Take active part in budget construction
  • Organize, Control and monitor the closing, bookkeeping and treasury management
  • Assess and evaluate the working capital requirements
  • Ensure proper accounting and valuation of cost/revenue
  • Secure and ensure adequate issuance of monthly management reportings and consolidation packages, in due time
  • Elaborate and issue the tax fillings (local tax, tax integration, yearly filings)
  • Draft the notes to the Financial Statements
  • Drive the implementation of a local ERP system and suggest process/team/organization improvements to increase the efficiency / agility of the finance team

- Controlling

  • Follow and monitor the overall country performance
  • Review, assess and propose action plan to improve the operational performance
  • Perform regular profitability analysis and ensure adequate pricing / costing of contracts
  • Liaise with operational managers and country manager to drive the country performance
  • Lead performance discussion with the group and provide support/analysis when needed

- Management

  • Lead and organize the team work of the accounting team
  • Develop talents
  • Assess the collective and individual performance
  • Monitor and track the accounting budget
  • Ensure adequate change management within the team

- Reporting and Organization

  • Active cooperation and support with the External Auditors
  • Active support and interaction with the group division controller
  • Inform on a regular basis the Group CFO of any significant / major event linked to accounting
  • Make sure that process guidelines defined in the QMS are implemented


Skills and experience;

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance , Industrial Engineering or a related field;
  • 5-10 years of experience preferably in financial reporting and planning areas
  • Previous experience in one of the leading audit firms would be an asset
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and presentation skills
  • High sense of responsibility, urgency and ability to handle multiple tasks in a deadline oriented environment
  • Able to work within a dynamic environment
  • Fluency in English preferably good command of 2nd language (French, Spanish)
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications (particularly Excel , Power BI and PowerPoint)
