QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Fokker Elmo Turkey founded in 2007 in the Aegean Free Zone in Izmir, It's customer portfolio includes some of the leaders of the aerospace and defense industry, such as Lockheed Martin, Boeing Company, Agusta Westland, Airbus Military, Hamilton Sundstrand and Pratt & Whitney. Fokker Elmo has facilities in Netherlands, Turkey, China, India, Canada and the US.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors, preferable MBA (Masters in Business Administration) degree.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience, of which minimum 2 years specific managerial position in and experience on local accounting, tax, finance regulations.
  • Experience in Free Trade Zone is preferable.
  • Professional designations (CMA, CIMA, SMMM etc.) is preferable.

Responsibilities:

  • Formulate strategic & long term business plans by working closely with local and global management teams.
  • Assist management with ad hoc analysis and financial insight to enhance key business decision making and seek to improve financial awareness, controls & understanding across the business and departments.
  • Ensure the monitoring of Business performance of the local site as well as the preparation and providing of accurate information on Business and financial performance, in order to allow fast decision making and information flow thru global organization.
  • Prepare timely management reporting information with supporting analysis of key variances, detailed review of financial and operational performance and KPIs.
  • Manage period end and year end closure ensuring all necessary reconciliations are undertaken and all supporting documentation is available for review.
  • Prepare and review short term and long term budgets and forecasts as well as ensuring the analysis of and advice relating to any gaps between budget/forecast and realization.
  • Accomplishes information technology staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies.
