Karpowership, part of the Karadeniz Holding, is the owner, operator and builder of the only Powership™ (floating power plant) fleet in the world and plays an active role in medium to long-term investments; providing access to fast-track, affordable and reliable electricity. Powerships have a range of 30 MW to 470 MW and are delivered ready to operate in less than 60 days. Currently, Karpowership owns and operates 22 Powerships with an installed capacity exceeding 3,500 MW and another 5,000 MW are under construction or in the pipeline. In addition to a Powership fleet, Karpowership owns and operates its own LNG fleet. To be employed within Finance Directorate, we are looking for a “FINANCE SPECIALIST” with the following qualifications;

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics. ,
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in banks and/or corporate companies,
  • Experienced in financial reporting.
  • Experienced in SAP TRM and/or FI modules,
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken, preferably Spanish is a plus, Knowledge about financial terminology is must,
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access is a plus,
  • Strong communication and follow up skills,


Job Description

  • To carry out the processes of opening new accounts of domestic and foreign banks and to respond to periodic requests from banks within the scope of KYC,
  • To act as a SAP Key user, and to finalize the incoming requests with the SAP team,
  • Integrating internet banking between banks and the SAP system,
  • Contributing to systemic developments that will facilitate the work,
  • To provide bank reconciliations and to ensure that the relevant statements are received from the Banks, to enter them into the system,
  • Taking part in the preparation of daily financial reports submitted to the management,
  • To prepare the instructions for the payments to be made and to submit the originals of the documents related to these instructions for signature, to deliver the signed instructions and annexes such as the contract to the bank, to follow up the transactions at the bank.
  • To remind the Supply Chain Department by following the maturities of the guarantees received,
  • Working in coordination with our colleagues in the offices of our overseas companies, getting and giving information.
