FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

Job Description
This position is in a manufacturing company which operates at a global scale. We are looking for a Financial Controller who will report to Finance Manager and support top management. This role will mainly be responsible for the followings:

· Provide financial analysis, reporting and guidance on strategy, plans and performance at business level

· Plans, follows and reports the Actual & Budget results and the variances

· Support month-end and year-end close process

· Strives to improve the operational process workflow

· Preparation of monthly financial statements and variance analysis versus budget

· Support preparation of annual forecasts and budget

· Analyze and control monthly costs and prepare ad-hoc reports to the top management

· Assisting Finance Manager regarding planning of financial and administration activities to achieve financial goals

· Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures

· Analyze and interpret financial data while recommending changes to improve the continuous development of actual financial performance, budgeting & financial forecasting


Personal/Professional Competencies

· The ideal candidate should have/be:

· Undergraduate/Master's Degree in BA, Accounting or equivalent

· Proven prior experience in Finance & Reporting for minimum 7 years

· Good communication and solid leadership skills

· Proactive and inquisitive- eager to challenge the status quo to drive efficiency and improvement

· A self-starter with demonstrated efficient work methods, analytical & problem-solving skills

· The ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

· Organized and able to handle workload peaks while meeting deadlines

· Sound knowledge of Turkish code of Tax, IFRS, Financial Control, Cost Accounting & Analysis, Budgeting and Financial Reporting

· Excellent command of both written and spoken English.

· Advanced level of expertise in Microsoft Office (esp. Excel and Powerpoint)

· ERP experience would be advantageous
