QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a ''Financial Project Manager'' for our global client.


Requirements:

• Bachelors's / Master's degree in Finance ,

• More than 8 years of experience in finance and finance business partnering roles,

• Experience in Transportation/Construction sector is a plus,

• Fluent in English & Turkish, both written and spoken, French is a plus,

• Excellent analytical and communication skills with ability to respond under pressure and tight deadlines,

• Ability to perform in a multinational and complex environment, create and manage network and connections with global organization, and various stakeholders,

• Experience in budget and performance controlling,

• Strong knowledge in Turkish Accounting/Tax Rules and in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS),

• Ability to present and communicate with senior management.


Job Description:

• Prepare, along with the Project Manager, the periodic Project Reviews with all the relevant financial analysis,

• Be the economic and financial advisor and propose innovative ideas to improve the project KPIs (Sales, Margin, Cash) to the Project Manager,

• Support the Project Manager and the Project Team in the controlling/financial management of the project,

• Control and optimize the project results through close involvement with the Project Manager and WP Owners,

• Ensure accuracy of actuals and Estimate to Complete, challenge the Estimate to Complete in order to maximize the Project Margin,

• Ensure customer invoicing is done as soon as possible and play an active role in getting payment from customer in the due time,

• Manage cash and follow-up the implementation of cash improvement actions on the project Promote cash culture in the project,

• Manage project bonds and hedging to limit exposure,

• Lead the Project financial reporting (Actuals, Budget, Forecasts, Weekly Cash,…)

• Review and analyze all B/S (Balance Sheet) items linked to the project (s),

• Handle claims administration (documentation, reports, …)

• Review the contract database data for all participating units and its compliance with last FPR/LPR’s decisions,

• Ensure that all financial processes and internal controls, including DoA, are implemented, robust and compliant related to field of activity.
