QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Basic requirements
1. Bachelor or specialist degree from a Turkey state university.
2. At least, 6 years of work experience in similar area (wholesale and retail of consumer devices).
Professional knowledge
1. Good knowledge of Turkish laws, especially: personal data protection, advertisement, consumer protection, contract, IPR, private international and labour laws.
2. Understanding of retail, wholesale and online business.
3. Understanding of advertisement and marketing activities.
Skills
1. Fluent English; capability to review and draft legal documents in English.
2. Litigation experience.
3. Good communication and negotiation skills.
4. Ability to work under pressure.
5. Skilled user of MS Word and Excel.
Job duties
1. Overall legal support of wholesale and retail business for top manufacturer of consumer devices (smartphones, laptops, tablets etc).
2. Support of e-shop and apps activity.
3. Ensuring legal compliance of the company.
4. Handling consumer claims and disputes.
5. Contracts review and drafting; participation in contracts negotiation.
6. Reviewing business correspondence.
7. Identification of legal risks and suggesting mitigation measures.
8. Handling commercial disputes (unauthorized use of the company’s trademark, parallel import, disputes with suppliers etc.)
9. Advising on labour laws.
