QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
DELTA KOZMETİK, which was established in 1953 and exports to USA, manufactures personal care, baby care and household cleaning products in it’s own production facilities of 28.000 m2 in Istanbul Industry and Trade Free Zone / Tuzla.
We are looking for competent candidates for our constantly developing and growing company to work as a “Foreing Trade Operations & Logistics Manager” in our Tuzla plant.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Business Administration, Foreign Trade, Economics, Industrial Engineering or related disciplines,
- A total of 10 years of work experience, of which 5 years is a manager and 5 years of Free Zone export, import, shipping and logistics processes experience,
- Having knowledge of Import & Export and Customs clearance regulations,
- Excellent command of written and verbal English,
- Strong experience in MS Office applications,
- Being a team player with strong communication skills,
- Strong coordination ability, effective reporting skills and successful in time management.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- To manage and control the Foreign Trade Operations and Logistics Department,
- Responsible for the execution of import and export transactions in accordance with customs and foreign trade legislation,
- Responsible for the execution of international trade transactions in accordance with company procedures,
- To ensure the preparation of documents (invoices, documents and similar) related to the Import and Export transactions carried out in the Free Zone,To follow foreign trade, customs and free zone laws and regulations,
- To ensure that all kinds of import transactions of raw materials and other materials purchased from the country and abroad are organized and their entry into the Free Zone is ensured,
- To check the Chamber of Commerce&Industry and Customs certifications of export documents,
- To ensure coordination and information flow between all departments related to the logistics and operation process,
- To chech and control the monthly import and export costs prepared and to ensure that agreed with the cost accounting department,accounting,
- To manage the logistics operations; Establishing the necessary connections with logistics companies, following the logistics processes and making necessary improvement studies,
- To find/to ensure alternative shipping companies to solve the problems that may arise in overseas transportation,
- To control all invoices, import files and expenses of which customs procedures are completed, related to the works performed under his/her responsibility.
- To monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of logistics operations, to make necessary improvements and to report.
