QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently seeking to recruit a Reservations Agent to join our team as Fraser Place Anthill Istanbul which is located in Şişli/Bomonti. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:
- Previous guest service and reservations experience at least 1 year in a 5 star hotel.
- Have a degree or diploma in hospitality or equivalent from a reputed university / High School.
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills required in Turkish and English. Additional language will be an advantage.
- Proficient at Microsoft Office and Opera programmes.
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Flexible and committed to working in a professional environment
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Manage the calls effectively and quickly according to the hotel standards.
- Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
- Follow up guarantee and payment of the reservations
- Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers.
- Answer questions about property facilities/services and room accommodations.
- Follow sales techniques to maximize revenue. Input and access data in reservation system
- Preparing daily arrival files.
- Indicate special room reservation types (e.g., complimentary rooms, employee discounts, travel agent inspection rates, and wholesale reservations) by inputting the correct code and rate into the pms system.
- Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets; protect the privacy and security of guests and co-workers.
