Freight Operation Executive

We are seeking an “Freight Operation Executive”, to be a part of our trading department and to be responsible for chartering and day to day relevant operations day-to-day ensuring and continously improving the operation for our company.

Job Description

• Fixing break bulk vessels (size between Coaster and Handy Size) for our company’s cargoes .End to end execution of fixed vessel operations including,

• Communicating with ship owners, ship brokers,

• Collecting and reporting Daily or weekly information related to freight market and reporting to GM.

• Preparing charter party agreements ,

• Tracing freight, demurrage, despatch or related payments daily and weekly,

• Ensuring information flow timely between shipowner and trade execution department as well as seller or buyer,

• Tracing claims,

• Preparing reports both intradepartmental and managerial,

Requirements / competencies

• Degree in Faculty of Maritime and Business Administration highly preferred,

• Technical knowledge in the related field and minimum 3+ years experience in similar roles,

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken,

• Good command of MS Office Applications,

• Solid planning, organization, time-management, coordination and multitask skills for hard business scope,

• Analytical and strategic thinker, fast-mover,

• Having an agile structure, capability of proactive action,

• Great communicator, ability to work very closely with other departments

• Strong reporting ability and operational perspective,

• Open to personal improvement, suitable for corporate identity work,

• Highly motivated and result-oriented,
