Shopside is an Ankara based startup company that developed a SaaS e-commerce marketplace integration portal to empower small and medium e-commerce businesses in Turkey. Although Shopside is an early stage of its lifetime we achieve a swift success thanks to our robust and user-friendly portal. This rapid breakthrough led to the acquisition of Shopside by a global technology group.
We are seeking talented and self-starter team members who have senior experience working in a Front-End Developer position.
As a Front-End Developer you will be responsible for developing UI features of our SaaS e-commerce marketplace integration portal, which will be used by thousands of customers. You will have a direct impact on our customers and you will be involved in and learn every aspect of the e-commerce ecosystem; as well as software development using the design patterns and latest technologies.
What you will do
- You will be working on our e-commerce marketplace integration portal, which will be used by thousands of customers,
- Implement features and user interfaces of multi-tenant, large-scale SaaS applications,
- Build world-class responsive web clients design system,
- Architect efficient and reusable front-end systems that drive complex web applications,
- Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues,
- Develop unit and automated tests with high code coverage,
- We expect you to spend time understanding the needs, be comfortable with examining data, come up with ideas and test these ideas in an efficient manner,
- Besides these, you are expected to step outside of your comfort zone to learn new technologies and prototype solutions to solve technical challenges we face as a result of our fast-growing user base.
What we are looking for
- 1+ years of experience in software development
- Excellent development and delivery experience with HTML5 /CSS (3),Javascript, jQuery/Ajax
- Experience in using Restful API architecture
- Experience in using tools like; Postman, BitBucket, SequelPro/HeidiSQL, VSCode
- Being an agile minded team player
- Strong communication skills, willing to learn, creative and result oriented, ability to work independently and within groups
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Nice to have
- Knowledge in e-commerce ecosystem
- Experience in PHP7 without Framework
- Experience in MySQL
- Experience in maintaining data with XML and Json outputs in a professional level
- Experience in high scale architectures
