QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Phobos Systems is a startup company developing autonomous material handling robots for intralogistics.
We are looking for a Full Stack Web Developer with experience developing optimized frontend and backend systems to interact with our mobile robot fleet management software.
Responsibilities
- Design of web based desktop and mobile user interfaces
- API design and development for our fleet management software
- Improvement of processes with field data using analytics tools
- Creating design documents
- Writing unit tests, conducting customer demos and field tests
Required Skills
- Experience developing web based user interfaces and applications with frontend and backend technologies
- Good command of Python and Javascript, effective usage of Javascript with ES6 updates and beyond.
- Front-end development with React.js, experience utilizing libraries like Canvas and Redux if/when necessary
- Backend experience with Node.js
- REST API design, HTTP status codes, design of API documentations
- Experience in version control systems (Git, Gitlab)
- Working knowledge in databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Basic networking skills
- Knowledge in HTTP and WebSocket communication protocols
- Familiar with DevOps practices, has an idea about containerization technologies like Docker
- Able to read documents in English.
Bonus
- Basic Linux OS knowledge, terminal commands and bash scripting
- Familiarity with robotic technologies, autonomous mobile robots and Robot Operating System (ROS)
