Gearbox Design - Senior Engineer İş İlanı

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description:

The successful candidates will be part of the Gearbox Design Team as an design engineer who will be performing design activities for gas turbine engine development projects.

Responsibilities:

• To perform gearbox design activities including design, analysis, evaluation of drawings of gearbox for manufacturing,

• To evaluate design tools, procedures and guidelines for gearbox design and design analysis,

• To work with gas turbine component design groups to drive design changes,

• To perform research activities including marked trend, new technologies for gearbox design and gearbox accessories,

• To execute component trade studies and design iterations comprehensively,

• To coordinate communication between suppliers and project members,

• To prepare and present the technical design data to internal and external customers,

• To plan testing and instrumentation for validation and certification activities,

• To provide mentoring to teammates in best practices of design and analysis.

Qualifications:

• BSc/MsC/PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field,

• At least 5 years of engineering experience in similar position or relevant experience in aerospace projects,

• Fluent in English,

• Russian language is a plus,

• Knowledge of turbofan/turboshaft/turbojet or gas turbine engines,

• Design experience in complex system development projects,

• Technical knowledge in component design, mechanism, design and calculation, transmission system dynamic, component specifications, mainly gearboxes, lubrication systems, gears, bearings,

• Full knowledge of component analysis (FEA, fatigue, fracture mechanics, bearing stress, shaft strength and bending),

• Ability to work harmoniously in high-performance team environment,

• Capability to operate in collaborative and cross-functional environment,

• Ability to use CAD software (Siemens NX or similar), Kisssoft, Ansys, Siemens Teamcenter,

• No military obligation for male candidates (preferred).
