QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Finance Shared Services (technical accounting, banking, back-office, insurance, and business finance)
- Have wide understanding about the SGK system and income tax calculation
- Have wide understanding about the material exporting tax system
- Work closely with Tax Compliance, Tax Services, and Statutory Audit teams
- Provide support on preparation and documentations of periodical tax declarations, government statistics, and analysis
- Back-office requests from several integrated systems impacting cash outs/ins
- Dealing with daily/weekly banking activities, preparing reports.
- Support finance teams to ensure control and manage currency risks, valuation, and producing reports for statutory/bank reporting needs
- Supports the internal year end closing of general ledger and subsidiary ledgers from preparation of journal entries to planning, follow up and signoff with auditors.
- Supports the internal monthly closing process. Reviews the General Ledger on a regular basis, to ensure cost codes are being properly used, and creates new ledger accounts or new transaction codes, as needed.
- Maintains fixed asset records and control; determines depreciation terms/rates to apply to capitalized items.
- Assistance in preparation of tax returns.
- Ensure our tax declarations are compliant with tax law and filed on time.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related fields.
- Experience with Global Corporations and concentration in Turkish Accounting, Turkish Taxes, IC AR/AP transactions
- Prior proven experience (at least 3 years) in a similar function or in a consulting firm.
- Preferably experienced in working closely with offshore teams in service centres.
