QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Being responsible for micro planning in production, following up production processes in the production line and leading as well as training manufacturing workers, defining training needs, being sure production cost-effectiveness, arranging schedules, maintaining equipment, managing with other departments, and applying company procedures and policies, should demonstrate leadership, multitasking, communication and interpersonal skills, computer literacy and strategic planning.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Actively support and engage in all HSE activity to achieve excellence in productivity, quality, and EHS, company policies, procedures and statutory requirements to ensure staff are fully compliant as well as developing and maintain a safe workplace for all employees and contractors,
  • Meet and exceed business objectives ensuring consistent achievement of all financial and operational KPIs
  • Required to manage (in partnership with the wider account team) multiple sites to deliver an outstanding ‘Customer Experience’
  • Perform the daily operations of production line to ensure reliability and consistency on it
  • Long-term success in manufacturing depends on a number of factors, including the ability to deliver a marketable product and continue to develop it, and the ability to operate with strong profit margins
  • Ability to manage and influence key stakeholders
  • Optimize Efficiency: Increase production efficiency by reducing waste and improving work processes including in using equipment that is not outdated or damaged having increased productivity, reduced inventory levels and better-quality control for lower costs and optimize production
  • Always think automate and efficient
  • Lead the effort to develop and implement plans to meet customers’ requirements for product output, quality, cost and delivery
  • Drive growth and change in a fast-moving, high-energy environment,
  • Promote the use of six-sigma and SPC methodologies in driving plant quality improvements
  • Ensure all support functions at facility are staffed and well trained to perform their duties effectively
  • Liaison with all related parties to ensure standards on the shop floor are aligned globally
  • Monitor liquidation of hours and closure of discreet jobs for compliant revenue recognition purposes
  • Drive a relentless focus on the cost of quality and adherence to Quality,
  • Ensure 100% compliance to Quality Control & Quality Assurance,
  • Direct the production strategy to maintain maximum throughput of the pipe completion area in line with lean manufacturing best practice principles & Brilliant Factory initiatives including Digital
  • Ensure all employees are trained & competent for all tasks undertaken
  • In collaboration with the projects and engineering function, create and implement best-in-class design to manufacture and change management processes
  • Ensures lessons-learnt are captured
  • The continuous identification implementation of operational best practice through interaction with the wider team
  • Ability to demonstrate achievement of results
  • Excellent leadership, people management, communication and influencing skills,
  • Experience of working in an outsourcing or contact center operation,
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships,
  • Ability to demonstrate been able to translate business strategy into day to day delivery
  • Strong commercial understanding and previous accountability for profit targets
  • Setting and reviewing quality performance standards
  • Setting and reviewing of organizational / productivity objectives in line with the commercial contract
  • Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering
  • Min. 8 years of total experience in Manufacturing Processes in a global matrix organization
  • At least min. 2 years of coaching/supervisory/leadership experience ? in Operation Management
  • Knowledge of Lean Principles, Six Sigma and Kaizen
  • Excellent command of English
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Working knowledge of Windows software Inc. Outlook, Excel and Word

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience of RCA and problem solving
  • Experience of report writing and data analysis
  • Strong verbal, written, numerical and analytic skills
