QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking to hire an experienced General Manager to join our small family office in Bodrum.Candidates with a solid management experience in Project Development in Construction Companies with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and/or Business & Finance is preferred.

ABOUT THIS ROLE:

The Company's General Manager is responsible for managing all phases of a development and foreign investment of a tourism project and also successfully management of the company and its assets including business plan(s), long-term financials, budgeting, auditing, reporting and negotiations of international contracts.

The General Manager, in addition to assisting the Chairman and being responsible for the day to day operations and maintenance of budgets, is required to be a proactive communicator with good coordination and follow up skills in outsourcing services from local and international Consultants.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Solid experience in Project Development and Investment with a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering and/or Business & Finance is highly preferred.

2. A minimum of 15 years of similar professional experience at management level position(s) is required..

3. Excellent proficiency in English & Turkish; well-versed in business literacy, presentation and negotiation skills is a MUST.

4. Strong analytical skills; detailed-oriented, ability to navigate and bring order to problems as they arise.

5. Proficient in budget planning and reporting, contract management, team management and feasibility studies.

6. Experience in the execution of permission process with Governmental Entities is preferred.

7. A valid US visa holder is highly preferred.

8. Working and/or studying experience in the US and/or EU will be an asset.

9. Must be able to travel internationally as needed.

10. Candidates who are already residing in Bodrum is highly preferred.
