QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
In a new organisation, As an Export and Operation Specialist ,you will be working within the sales organization and to be assigned to work for all of our export and operation of the company, which produces and exports edible animal foodstuffs; We are looking for a teammate to be assigned to our company's headquarters in Ataşehir who has strong human relations, who can think dynamically, creatively and analytically, who takes initiative when necessary and who adopts the principle of being successful.
The position will also provide a sales support function within the relevant team and you will work in the same team together with regional sales specialist, domestic and foreign regional manager and sales manager positions.
In brief, you will be fulfilling the following tasks and responsibilities:
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Graduated from universities such as Engineering, International Relations, International Trade, International Transportation-Logistics
- At least 3 years of professional work experience in export operations (experience in animal foodstuffs export is preferred),
- Good command of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel,
- Having knowledge of ERP (or working with CRM),
- Fluent in English,
- Having high level of responsibility with business accumen and follow-up ability, having planning and organizational skills, mastering foreign trade processes like all incotmers, meticulous, detailed, dynamic, able to communicate easily with people, compatible with teamwork, careful and solution-oriented follow-up
- Able to use her time effectively, follow the requirements of the job in short, long and medium terms within the year and complete it
- Not over 40 years old
- Organization of internal and external shipments, creation of dispatch plan with sales team
- Shipment and follow-up of products from the factory
- Preparing and following the technical and commercial documents related to export operations, following the relevant documents specifically for animal food requirements.
- Follow-up of orders in production together with relevant colleagues in the factory,
- Easy communication with banks, customs consultant, forwarders, factory, customers
- Preparing the weekly order shipment plan and keeping the report in consultation with the Production and Quality departments,
- Entering the relevant data into the ERP program and making reports, sending the weekly and monthly stock and progress report to the sales team.
- Preparing samples for customers, following up, sending pictures, taking and following up their orders,
- To ensure the organization of customs and transport procedures,
- Keeping in touch with customs, shipping and shipping companies, examining logistics costs and working to reduce costs, preparing monthly reports
- To monitor and control customer current accounts payments status, invocing etc.,
- To follow up the transactions with letter of credit and other incoterm conditional transactions,
- Informing the finance and accounting departments about payments, ensuring coordination and information flow between all relevant departments like sales and logistic,
- Entering customer orders and invoices into the relevant system and following up
- Carrying out commercial relations in the following terms for the incompleted cycle with existing companies and customers abroad and / or in the country,samples, payments, quality, etc.
- Informing the customer or company about the shipment and documentation,
- To deliver the exported products to the counter company in a timely and appropriate manner as planned.
- Ensuring that relevant data are entered for activity and sales reports,
- To follow the relevant foreign trade laws and regulations,
- Creating and archiving the files of all export operations,
- Creating regular reports on the progress of operations and presenting them to the manager
- To send the details of possible customer complaints to the quality and production units in case of happened.
