Global Sales and Marketing Assistant Manager

Scope of the Position

Global Sales and Marketing Assistant Manager will report to Global Sales and Marketing Director and he/she will be in charge of sales and marketing activities .

Global Sales and Marketing Assistant Manager follows closely existing and potential customer activities in terminal locations, organizing regular meetings, focusing on value added service to increase revenue, Revenue Modelling for new business opportunities, guiding Volume and Revenue budgets of Terminals.

Working together with Regional Sales Organization on organizing key customer meetings. Monthly Volume and Revenue meetings, action plans etc.. Global Sales and Marketing Assistant Manager closely follow customer contracts and tariffs and analysis for value added services, closely follow industry and news that might effect Sales activities.

Responsibilities

  • Being customer voice inside the organisation.
  • Communicate regularly face to face/online with current & potential customers,
  • Collaborate with Regional Sales teams to identify the grow opportunities ,
  • Focus on Value added services to increase revenue,
  • Prepare / update and present company presentation on regular basis.
  • Organize Monthly Sales Volume & Revenue Meetings to identify development points.
  • Prepare required analysis before the Sales Volume & Revenue Budget studies.
  • Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis and marketing best practices to build successful strategies
  • Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about Sales & marketing strategies and budgets
  • Expand network by following global or regional industrial events, conferences and news about the sector
  • Prepare and coordinate the standard contract and quote documents, updating the SAP C4C.
  • Closely following recent developments and market news in the related industries which effects terminals and informing related departments in regular periods
  • Prepare specific analysis base on the location and trade activities which supports sales strategies and business development opportunities
  • Share the best practices, good things happening with the marketing management team to be published on the magazines, website.
  • Support SAP C4C implementations and updates.

Covering the duties of a teammate in the SM organisation when necessary

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills interact with people from various countries, cultures, and all business levels,

A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Marine, or Logistics with a Master’s degree would be preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in port or shipping industry,

• Written and oral fluency in English is a must,

• Business development and client management experience would be a distinct advantage.

• Customer-oriented , and motivated team player with strong relationship-building skills.

• Strong negotiation, facilitation, problem-solving, presentation, reporting, and research skills,

• Is self-directed and self-motivated, able to work both independently and within a highly collaborative team environment,

• Desire to deliver outstanding results and increase the revenue of the company,

• Strong analytical and organizational skills and ability to organize and prioritize work and handle multiple tasks simultaneously and complete tasks according to deadlines,

• Completed military service for male candidates.
