QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a skilled and highly motivated Cost Controller to join the GODIVA Turkey Finance Department in Çamlıca/İstanbul.The position and preferred qualifications for the suitable candidates are defined below;

What Will Be Your Responsibilities?

Product Management

Managing item costs (Margins, Discounts, COGS etc.)

Creating and maintaining new item numbers in AXAPTA

Recipe mapping in AXAPTA for new products and changes for existing products.

Coordinating with IT. for Micros Update & POS configurations.

Reviewing POS & Micros periodically. Removing delisted items

Managing promotions, prices and discounts on Micros and AXAPTA

Inventory Management

Managing month end stock count process & inventory closing process.

Manual count sheet creation & circulation for physical counting purpose

Ensure daily sales of the stores are posted automatically by the system.

Eliminating problems that are preventing this process

Posting Prepack conversions

Reviewing & following up with pending transfers & movement journals for the month & post the pending ones where the stores face SOH issues.

Uploading Turkey frame, corporate, warehouse count sheets in AXAPTA & creating & posting wastage, sampling journals for Turkey frame in AXAPTA.

Generating monthly Inventory variances report & sharing with stores for their review.

Providing support & step wise training to store staff & regional colleagues on Inventory management modules in ERP.

Reporting & Analysis:

Preparing Month-end report such COGS, Usage analysis, Inventory variances, Product Mix Variances, Best sellers, Performance of Promotion & combos etc.

Generating reports to show seasonal sales performances, sell-through rate, performances of seasonal promotions etc.

Generating reports on variances in Landed cost & it’s impact on GM.

Generating and extracting various reports and analysis to cater the requirements of different stakeholders (Operations/ marketing/ corporate sales/Forecasting/ purchasing/ accounts/ Auditors etc.)

Provide relevant training for department leads to ensure they can use cost related QS reports

Analyze and improve all cost and inventory related processes

Other Functional support:

Reviewing reports in QS and training Area managers how to utilize the reports.

Reviewing & suggesting price quotes given to Franchises

Updating Price agreement with suppliers in AXAPTA

Reviewing seasonal catalogs to make sure updated prices are in agreement with the approved RSPs.

Engaging in Forecasting meetings to provide information on relative price points & substitutable products & seasonal sales data.

Supporting stores with the issues they face (AXAPTA issues, POS/Micros issues, transfer issues, reopening/cancelling inaccurate invoice booking, etc.)

Which Qualifications Do We Expect?

· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economy or other related departments

· At least a total of 5 years of experience in relevant Finance and Business. Food/Beverage industry cost controller experience preferred,

· Resilient, ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy, working under tight deadlines,

· Strong written and verbal communication skills in English,

· Strong analytical skills,

· Open-minded, self-motivated, positive,

· Commercial Awareness

· Advance Level MS Office

· Significant experience with cost control platforms and software (Axapta preferred)

· Can steer through complex operational issues
