QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Anatolia is a leading manufacturer, importer and distributor of ceramic and stone tiles and is a major supplier to some of the largest home centers and distributors throughout the United States and Canada. Based in Toronto, Anatolia is a privately owned 100% Canadian corporation that is growing rapidly.
Anatolia has been operating in Aliaga, Izmir, Turkey since August, 2017 in its 60,000-square meter Distribution Centre. With this facility, Anatolia has been supporting its North American Customers, and continues to expand to new markets in Europe, Asia, South America and Middle East. In addition to its Distribution Center, the construction of Anatolia’s 250.000-square meter ceramic manufacturing facility is in progress with operations commencing in 2022.
Anatolia is now seeking a “Graphic Designer” to join its growing team. With this role, you willbe responsible for producing graphic art and visual material layouts for print, product packaging, photography, and creation of any other pieces to meet the marketing objectives for the company including but not limited to print and web projects. What you need is:
- Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design or any related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in print and web graphic design.
- Demonstrated experience and ability working with moderately complex information that involve unrelated processes and methods using different variations in daily routine.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good command of English.
- Good understanding of employer branding and public reputation strategies.
- Proficiency of 4 color, spot and digital printing process and prepress requirements is a must.
- Strong typography, design, and layout skills
- Proficiency on a Mac: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), including digital/web production and sounds knowledge of MS office on Mac platform.
- Understanding of Dreamweaver, Flash, CSS, Javascript, and HTML is considered an asset.
- Video Editing knowledge considered an asset.
As a Graphic Designer you will be responsible for…
- Update, design, and create brochures, advertisements, internal documents, and other marketing materials.
- Create graphics, icons, and templates and marketing related materials.
- Develop concepts and themes for marketing materials.
- Take an innovative and creative approach to print and web design.
- Ensure that branding guidelines established by the company are adhered to.
- Regular updating of the company website using basic skills such as html, css and java script.
- Research and find photos and graphics for various in-house projects.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to adhere to project timelines.
- Design internal communication materials to support HR initiatives such as event posters, company newsletter, and internal company website.
- Maintenance of server filing system, designer server and archival documents.
