Job Descrition
Material Group Management
- Procurement market research and detection of trends
- Group-wide alignment as well as implementation of a material group strategy on an international basis
- Definition and creation of a qualified international supplier portfolio
Supplier Management
- Supplier assessment, selection and development
- Evaluation of RFQs and quotations within the scope of the internal awarding conferences
- Negotiation of costs and terms using all available purchase leverages
- Conclusion of agreements/contracts on an international basis
- Support of new launches and in case of critical situations due to missing parts
- Supplier risk management
- Supplier relationship management incl. top management meetings
Quality Management
- Initiating and accompanying initial audits
- Organisation of quality workshops for supplier qualification
- Charging/debiting suppliers in case of non-quality
- Supporting the part approval process
Data Management
- Material pricing and tracking
- Ensuring the master data management and up-to-dateness
- Creation of delivery schedules
- Change management in the ECM process
- Ensuring the availability of current supplier documents
- (e.g. RoHS, REACH, audit certificates, supplier posters, agreement annexes)
- Process-conforming filing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from related departments (Mechanical, Industrial engineering etc.)
- At least 4 years of vocational experience in purchasing,
- Minimum 2 years of experience in steel purchasing,
- Fluent English level,
- Advanced MS Office and SAP MM skills,
- Strong communicative skills, assertive.
