QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Banquets & Events Executive who must possess;

  • A Bachelor degree in Tourism Hotel Management
  • At least two years experience in groups and events organizations
  • Knowledge of Events and group business’
  • Fluent level of English language is required to carry out the work and follow any developments related to the job
  • Advanced skills in various computer software and Opera knowledge.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust, cooperate and relate well with all departments within the hotel, guests, and all external companies.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.

İŞ TANIMI

  • Plan and gradually organize all group accommodations & events.
  • Plan and organize internal events
  • Achieving the annual budget numbers of groups and events
  • Meet all guests and agencies to sell banquet and meeting rooms.
  • Communicate with all MICE agencies which possess a suitable hotel profile and add them to the hotel database with sales call.
  • Organize sales meetings to increase sales and undertaking all tasks.
  • Preparation of Beo’s, contracts and passing the information to all related departments.
  • Search new contacts to increase group & individual sales and communicate new agencies for hotel promotion.
  • Implement group reservations to Opera and ensure that all details are clear and proper.
  • Preprinting necessary reports, benchmarks related to market and budget goals.
  • The job incumbent should be active, proactive and result oriented.
