Job Summary

  • Handles Guest check-in and check-out procedures in coordination with Housekeeping department.
  • Responsible for having knowledge about all VIPs in-house, hotel functions and special events.
  • Responsible for collecting as much feedback information on VIPs as possible (on daily basis) by checking e.g. Google, Opera PMS company wide, briefs and distributes this information within the hotel to all relevant departments by e.g. daily guest fact sheets/reports, newsletter, etc. and ensures information is updated in the guest profile.
  • Handling guests requests and telephone calls.
  • Has detailed information about hotel and the services provided.
  • Has thorough knowledge on rooms, location, view, product, features, amenities and should be able to answer all related questions.
  • Follows up the daily arrival room status in coordination with Housekeeping.
  • Follows up group arrivals and departures/ daily departures / late departures / early arrivals / room blocking and takes immediate action.
  • Performs rooming.
  • Responsible for preparing the daily report, attending to daily handover and monthly departmental meetings.
  • Responsible for covering AM / PM and Night Shift on rotation basis.
  • Able to take room reservations and give price quotations in the absence of reservations office.

Qualifications

  • Minimum one (1) year experience in 5* or chain Hotel in Front Office (preferably a resort hotel)
  • Fluency in English, second language is a plus
  • Experience in using OPERA
  • Able to use Microsoft Office programs
  • Culture service oriented
  • Musti task oriented
