QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

- Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields: Industrial Design, Communication Design, Engineering, Ergonomics, Human Factors, Physiology, Human Kinetics, Psychology or other related fields
- Experience with user centered design and requirements development. Also, an understanding of electrical engineering systems and development processes.
- Experience with Photoshop, Visio, Doors, Adobe XD
- 2 years of relevant experience in the field
- Good organizational, teamwork and problem solving skills, ability to meet deadlines amongst changing vehicle designs
- Detail oriented, flexible and has the ability to prioritize and facilitate alignments globally
- Fluent English
Job Description
The HMI Feature Specialist is accountable for all feedback and intuitiveness of user interfaces within the vehicle and infotainment systems. Features leads are specifically focused on feedback, messaging, auditory signals, intuitiveness, functional grouping and feature logic. The Feature Lead is responsible for the robust development and management of system logic and ensures specification alignment with customer functional objectives, electrical engineering specifications and graphical assets.
