“Housekeeping Manager”

We invite you to be a team member of TITANIC Business Kartal Hotel as Housekeeping Department, operating in İstanbul area of TITANIC HOTELS which is an International Hotel brand.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of 5 years previous experience in all aspects of Housekeeping in an international hotel chain required, with at least 3 years of supervisory experience
  • Previous experience managing a team of housekeeping employees through motivation, coaching and development
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of hotel housekeeping operation procedures and business practices
  • Rooms management systems knowledge
  • Capable of using independent judgment/solid decision making skills ability
  • Proficiency with general office PC applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheets, databases)
  • Demonstrated sound organizational, coordinating and personal interface skills
  • Good command of English


JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Manage the daily activities of the Housekeeping department to include appropriate cleaning of all guest rooms, F&B areas, offices and public spaces; maximising the productivity of the team
  • Planning, organizing and directing the team members to ensure the highest degree of guest satisfaction
  • Daily supervision of the housekeeping staff
  • Purchase, re-order and maintain housekeeping supplies and inventory
  • Conduct inspections of all rooms and hotel areas
  • Recruit, schedule and train all new housekeeping staff members
  • Determines and maintains the department work schedule used to notify staff and ensure proper preparation and manning for each day
  • Ensure the proper maintenance of all equipment; make arrangements for repair and/or replacement of used and damaged equipment
