QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We have a rarely available opportunity for an experienced Export Sales Representative to strengthen our Sales team.

The Key Tasks:

  • In line with strategy, proactively lead the Company's international expansion and monitor all existing and prospective markets to identify appropriate business opportunities.
  • Research prospective companies and key players at businesses to understand their business needs, buying trends and customer demographics to ultimately increase the potential of a successful sale.
  • Review all company products/solutions and develop and maintain professional relationships with all customers, suppliers, and other agents.
  • Track market trends, and research competitive insights. Assess market potential for existing and new products across all product lines to maximize market share in export sales.
  • Analyze all market coverage and plan all required resources for same and ensure compliance to all timeframes.
  • Proactively send marketing, promotional, and other information to assigned customers/dealers/distributors via mail and email.
  • Perform upselling and cross selling to which includes but is not limited to new products, items released from backorder, replacements for discontinued items, special promotions, closeout items and replacements for returned items.
  • Document all sales calls and activities, perform reporting to show sales activities and statistics. Identify potential opportunities to increase sales, and partners with leadership to integrate into the sales plan.
  • Resolve complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management. Identify customer satisfaction trends and implement measures to build and improve relationships as well as satisfaction.
  • Negotiate and establish pricing and terms according to company’s requirements for customer and transaction profitability.
  • Provide feedback to senior management regarding new product needs and field reactions to existing products.

The Candidate

  • At least three years’ experience in sales and international sales roles preferably within the packaging and/or ecommerce industries.
  • Organised, approachable, dependable and willing to go the extra mile
  • Confident and outgoing manner, comfortable in forging new relationships / new customers in new markets.
  • Commercially astute and able to interpret and analyze data as well as enjoy research activities.
  • Good command of English.
