A young entrepreneur and a revolutionary scientist, Ph. Niyazi Kurtsan, planted the seeds of Otaci? at a compact pharmacy in Istanbul, 65 years ago with the vision of healing people through the power of nature. Kurtsan Group of Companies operates in three different sectors. KURTSAN ILACLARI A.Ş is specialized in Orthopedics, FTR, ENT, Pediatrics and Dermatology. KURTSAN MEDİKAL SANAYİ VE TİCARET A.Ş. produces and distributes medical plasters, adhesive plasters and hospital supplies. OTACI BİTKİSEL ÜRÜNLER SANAYİ VE TİCARET A.Ş is Turkey's first herbal cosmetics brand in herbal hair and skin care products. In addition, KURTSAN BİLİM SANAT EĞİTİM VAKFI is our non-profit foundation.

When Turkey accepted the European patent law in 1995, Kurtsan İlaçları made its first application with Otacı herbal lozenges. As a result of the research carried out at the Vienna Patent Institute, the first patents in the field of pharmaceuticals in Turkey were granted to Otacı.

Kurtsan Group of Companies carries out its production in Bandırma facilities in accordance with GMP rules and ISO standards. Kurtsan's products reach pharmacies, hospitals and markets in all regions of Turkey with a team of 400 people. We are working to supply consumers in Turkey and more than 25 countries around the world.

We are looking for EXPORT SPECIALIST thatwill work, Export departments.


JOB DESCRIPTION

  • To forward incoming export orders to factory and production departments and follows up the orders, stock status and dispatching of all the customers, monitors and organizes the sales process by working in coordination with finance, planning, production and dispatching departments,
  • To ensure that materials and products are ready for the day of shipment in export orders in coordination with the Production/Operation/Purchasing departments and the export warehouse of the factory.
  • Coordinate all export duties such as making shipment and preparing documents. Ensure that shipments are in compliance with the laws and regulations governing the export industry by working with shippers, agents and customs.
  • Manage and control all tasks between customers and any other departments
  • Assisting and informing customers on regular basis about the operational process
  • Working closely with finance and Accountant department for invoices and Eximbank processes related to export operations.
  • Organize business travels and exhibitions of export department.
  • Weekly/Monthly reporting about sales and customers in line with the demands of the Export Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree from related departments
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in export, shipping or/and logistics processes management (preferably in pharmaceutical, medical or cosmetic sector)
  • Good knowledge of international trade terms, requirements and documentation (shipping documents, Payment terms, Incoterms etc.)
  • Excellent command of written and verbal English (second language will be an asset),
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel
  • Proficiency in NETSİS
  • Good Communication and Planning Skills, Analytical Thinking Capability, Decision Making and Problem-Solving Ability,
  • No military obligations for male candidates
